These seem to be the main mechanisms behind autism spectrum symptoms: agnosia (absence of a model dimension), dysphoria (model does not track ground truth), sensory integration (overstimulation, shallow modeling, synesthesia) and control integration (ADHD, OCD, dissociation).

Tell me more, please. What makes you think of an absence of a model dimension.

For instance, prosopagnosia is the absence of a detailed model for faces, possibly caused by a lack of innate specific attention for faces (i.e. normal people get a specific additional reward for looking at faces). There is also a similar agnosia for mental states of others.

Human communication is a double edged sword. A mouth may say one thing while the eyes contradict it. I find it easier to imagine a mind trying to avoid contradictions by enhancing categorical borders resulting in difficulties with set shifting compared to a 'neglect' approach.

The expression of superficial contradictions is by itself a very relevant statement. The semantics of an utterance cannot be derived without regarding the context of the speaker's mind.
