Think of a phase space of possible, adjacent universe slices, of which the observer can only see one, because the observer only exists within any single universe slice, not across them.

Thx. And for time * travel* , traversing an interval t within a distance d is independent of whether d is longer or shorter? Weird. Reverses in a black hole ( I've heard but not worked out). Do you agree w either position? Apologies for my clumsiness.
