Perception determines coherence of a model to sensory data, to determine the kind of universe we are currently in. The older we get, the fewer degrees of freedom does our perceptual universe possess.

So the additional degrees of freedom a younger agent percieves, are just folly moves from the view of the older. Hm. (TEIRESIAS: Alas, how terrible is wisdom when it brings no profit to the man that’s wise!)
-
Yes, and they are not explicitly perceived as degrees of freedom, but as the loose structure of the world.

From the reasons you have pointed out it is not too convenient to stick on an individual view of reality, isn’t?
-
It might me convenient, but it is not advisable. If you meet a person who sees reality very differently from you, and is not easy to disprove, you may want to learn everything about the world from this person's point of view.
