Judeo-Christian God is just the natural end-game of playing “my forefather was taller and stronger than yours”.

Don’t confuse the story that the missionaries use to install God on the brains of heathens with the functional structure of God itself. God is the identification of a superorganism for multilevel selection. God turns a tribe into a state.

There would have to be some mechanism to aggregate individual responses into a single speaker/listener. "Your FB friends' favorite time of year is BLANK" or whatever.

Your individual preferences are not relevant; what matters is the process by which you get to them, and the meta process that adjudicates between such processes. At some point that will be reflected in the hivemind if the hivemind is smart enough.
