If we disagree with the political and factual worldview of large groups of people, are we obliged to present ourselves with evidence that our opinion forming process is superior to theirs before we are criticizing their positions? What counts as evidence?
I find it strange that you don't appear to remember states in which you dissociated from all preferences and just observed.

I feel like I have taken you/us away from your original question. I agree that there is such a thing as simple observation, but people in a political climate rarely are objective thinkers, I guess is what I am trying to say.
