If we disagree with the political and factual worldview of large groups of people, are we obliged to present ourselves with evidence that our opinion forming process is superior to theirs before we are criticizing their positions? What counts as evidence?
Of course there is. The people that thought that they were created by a supernatural due to being being updated on that by some cult had an inferior opinion forming process when compared to Aristotle or Darwin.

You’d have to compare the thinking process of the religious leaders and Aristotle. And I would not deem Buddha or Jesus to be that far behind. Yes everyone else then did copy paste - but so did those who copy Aristotle

I’m not saying they didn’t. But any way they tried to go about analyzing that process would be subject to the limitations of the analysis process itself. Its not reasonable to just find the smartest person and then adopt all their views. You’re always stuck with your own mind.
