"We" is a peculiar entity. While "we" can agree or disagree, "we" cannot think. Thinking is the domain of the autonomous individual.

It’s still WE. It’s just like different parts of our brain, or different conflicting thoughts are fighting for a resolution. There is plenty of research underlying collective thinking. I.e., a group can reach conclusions that no individual can.

I would say that the current “Science” is the result of group thinking.
