I think in academic, and especially academic psychological contexts, the word "aggression" doesn't have the colloquial associations it has in everyday speech. It is a fairly neutral term for any act involving dominance or (unasked for) exertion of will.
I am not conflating humiliation/aggression with harm, but just question at which point standard vanilla behavior should be labeled under these categories
