Challenge for the night: Define 'hate speech' so precisely & objectively that: 1) you would instantly recognize when people who share your ideology are saying hateful things against people who don't, and 2) a biased censor couldn't use it to shut down ideologies they dislike
In the Popperian sense, this is the intention of this thread, I suppose. Popper was a classic liberal and strong free speech supporter. We can disagree with him but I don't think that you can appropriate him for supporting a hate speech law.
