Justice may be understood as the specification of an algorithm for the reduction of violent conflict. Another understanding is that justice is a specification for the execution of power.

Both interpretations of justice exist in a natural and a human-made version.

In practice, there are several sustainable local equilibria for "just states", which are themselves mathematically constrained. Thus, there is a natural set of just states, and a human-made choice between them (constrained by available trajectories).
