The only way to govern humanity sustainably may be to tell an AI that we still want to be around in 10000 years and ask it to do whatever maximizes the probability. (The global AI government will probably kill 90% of us and breed the rest into yeast though.)
I am a vegetarian, but the detailed reasoning becomes tricky. It becomes really difficult when you consider future generations. Are you obliged to reduce the population now so more people can live sustainably in the future?
