Are cases of multiple personality disorder accidental creations of tulpas? (And I wonder how often therapists are to blame for that.)

What if we have different parts of ourselves that have different reward models, and each of those paths have their own memories (even if we have access to those memories from the different models at all times)?

This is probably roughly what happens. The cohesive self may be constructed over the shared memories, to sufficiently unify the reward models.
