When Google says they don’t operate via a political bias, they’re being sincere. Much of the left don’t see their views as political, but as moral. To them, it’s not that they’re “liberal,” they’re just right.

That is a human universal: Every political position that someone might hold is by definition the right one.

I must have missed that class.. I somehow manage to be uncertain of the righteousness of nearly all my political positions, and when asked to make a decision (aka vote or write a representative) I'm always terrified I've made the wrong one.

Perhaps you are not ideological. Most people don’t question their political convictions, but identity with them. They even use them to distinguish good people from bad people.
