Very interesting. Get the sense that your definition of computing seems to be broader - as in every system (including universe) computes its time evolution function. Is that right?

Just finished watching this talk, loved it!. There was an audience question on the lines of "why doesn't the observer not simulate another observer in himself": it is possible, I think people have had experiences of a dream within a dream, but it's limited by the brain's stack :)

The interesting question is given the brains limited symbolic capability (i.e. limit to holding around 5 items in memory or 3 levels of recursion) that its able to do the kind of analogical reason that it does.
