Still awake, so I'll try to give some preliminary responses now. 1. You seem to be assuming that the only argument for God's existence / the only information we have regarding the nature of God stems from occasionalism. But this is not true in Islamic theology. /1

Firstly, there are several other arguments for God's existence. Between these, we can (through a mixture of deduction and induction) build up something of a picture of God. Secondly, there is revelation, which can shed a lot of light on the 'necessary existent'. /2
