Elon Musk's strategy seems to be to create a better universe in his mind. Then he envisions that he already lives in it and tries to construct a path from the present one. Powerful strategy for a visionary, dangerous when you slip up and talk about stocks.

I am so pleased to see someone realize that ultimately, everything is just subjective anyway isn't it? Make your choice, commit to it

There seems to be an objective ground truth (it seems impossible to construct a universe that works without it). That implies that the truthfulness of models differs in systematic ways. Everything subjective is either lack of resolution or truth, or a surplus of identification.

Yes. But there is also an inner subjective world, where truth is irrelevant altogether. Things just are, however you experience them.

The fact that this inner subjective truth-ignoring world can be controlled by priests and other hypnotists has reduced our individual ability to understand the universe, but it also made us the programmable monkey that could displace all other hominids and large mammals on earth.
