I just realized: if a single neuron in the brain can connect to 10000 others, it means that if you want to model it with a regular lattice, you'd need at least 17 dimensions. #kissingNumber

How many microorganisms are inside a human? How many possible connections/interactions possible?

I don't yet see how it matters. The purpose of the mind is regulation, i.e. it comes down to the determinism that can be achieved *despite* the number of moving parts. The microbiome is being bred by the organism, not the other way around.

"The microbiome is being bred by the organism, not the other way around" << how sure are you about that? could it be that the feedback / interaction between so called agent(s) and environment are far more complex and fluid than often assumed? e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enactivism etc.

Enactivism is probably bs. Lets talk about it in person.
