@Plinz Do you know if there is or has been an intelligence test based on levels model building? Interesting idea for an authentic measure? -
No, I am unaware of such a test! Kegan's stages of consciousness are quite coarse and probably hard to measure. I am interested in how we could measure the regulation hierarchy of one's purposes (i.e. not personality but soul structure).

The general form of a mental representation is a probabilistic algorithm, computing a function that realizes a model or controls a behavior. Learning is compositional function approximation. You want to be able to use any function that runs efficiently on the available substrate.
