Fredkin thinks that particles like photons are basically pilot waves with a diameter of several meters. His computational models may not be entirely realistic but they are quite inspirational.
That was not my question. Do you think that it is sufficiently specified that it can be implemented?

I agree that it is a toy universe that at some point has a limited potential to be transformed into a model of physics. But I think that it can be useful to understand some fundamentals about how matter might traverse through a spacetime.
