My refrain on all similar stories: It’s not relevant to say Starbucks shouldn’t use IAT-based training because it doesn’t work. Corporations do such things to reduce costs from: 1. PR headaches 2. Lawsuits If the training achieves that outcome, it DOES work.

The reason why people complain about Starbucks using the IAT on its employees is that they don't want that to become standard procedure. Public complaints are not so much scientific commentary as they are practical politics.
