Measuring one's own intellect by nasty internet replies has become a terribly anti-intellectual currency. You shouldn't take part in this goldrush and keep selling shovels, tools to overcome this stupidity. It's what you're good at.

I agree. I don't follow people without intellectual and moral substance. But I cherish their intellectual diversity, because it keeps mine awake.

Do you mean "follow" in the sense of twitter-following or intellectually/ideologically following them? The world seems to have gone crazy for not discriminating between the two. And I tried to point out a bad habit independent of content or value.
