I am a big @ElonMusk /Tesla skeptic, but there is something deeply rotten about that DailyBeast article attacking him because of *rude random Twitter followers of his*, as if he's responsible for them. It's an article that shouldn't be published (or praised) on a reputable site.
I don't know which part of the word culture war you translate differently than me. War is what comes after a failed negotiation. War is about economic circumstances, power and survival. Of course it looks evil and sinister to the one on the pointy end of the stick!

I understand the term perfectly. What I don't understand is why you insist that this is okay. That she's just doing her job ergo, wearing down another person's reputation is fair game. It's not. This attack is wrong and only stands because she's found a way to add a sexism angle

This is only true if you think of her as being in the same camp as you. If she sees you and your culture as an enemy she wants to crush and destroy, her behavior can have integrity. Which is why wars must be avoided: important things can break, people can get hurt for real.
