I am a big @ElonMusk /Tesla skeptic, but there is something deeply rotten about that DailyBeast article attacking him because of *rude random Twitter followers of his*, as if he's responsible for them. It's an article that shouldn't be published (or praised) on a reputable site.
The same perspective exists on the other side. You are correct, this is a culture war, not hopscotch.

This isn't a culture war. This is something sinister and evil. This is not some benign shenanigan that's justified by getting more clicks. But if you don't see it already, I guess you won't ever do. I hope if this happens to you, you'll keep the same energy. I really do.

I don't know which part of the word culture war you translate differently than me. War is what comes after a failed negotiation. War is about economic circumstances, power and survival. Of course it looks evil and sinister to the one on the pointy end of the stick!
