Ayn Rand’s great achievement was her attempt at understanding the value of leadership. Unfortunately she was a parasite herself. The value of a leader is not how to be successful at reaching one’s goals. It is to do what’s right.
No, she is wrong. A leader motivated by selfish reasons will have to trick others into serving them. That is usually not sustainable.

She'd say it's just a negotiation in the open market. But maybe the frustration felt in the social hierarchy dominance chain is indeed unsustainable in society at large and one of the externalities. ;) Did she admit to Social Darwinism? I don't know.
