Three friends in the past week had friends held up at gun or knife-point in SF. I've never heard of anything like this in 34 years of being a resident here. What is going on..?

Result of having the absolute worst DA
@chesaboudin I had a homeless person move into my basement & we called the police to have him removed, but they let me know that the DA wouldn’t prosecute. So he had a new home This ultimately caused me to move out of SF12 replies 2 retweets 191 likes -

Nope! We had another guest that was squatting on the house & according to SF law if you stay somewhere longer than 30 days you’re a resident. The not-paying-rent-squatter invited the homeless person in, so its “cool” Today they’re both still there, living for free. Poor landlord

Ok so then you are the idiot that let a “guest” stay at your place, claiming then residency and then inviting an homeless.

What do you propose, other than calling the police? That he gets a gun and takes matters into his own hands?

I propose he doesn’t have a “guest” for more than 30 days in his apartment, in particular a guest that then invites an homeless to live with him
. What kind of guest is that in the first place?!? Come on, meow, no guns needed it you are not this dumb1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

So why did he make a distinction between “guest” and “homeless”? Why did he wait 30 days to call the police? At that point eviction is problematic, before there is zero problem. Unless it’s really a guest.
