The latest @AAVSO observations show that #Betelgeuse continues to decrease in luminosity in the visible. But in the #infrared (JH bands) its is constant. It could mean that a lot of dust (transparent in the #infrared) is forming and blocks a big part of the visible star light.

Unfortunately this is not possible to observe a full SED of Betelgeuse in "one shot" as the instruments (telescopes, detectors) are different depending on the wavelength domains.
