This from a county that thinks donut & ice cream shops are essential. That was okay with the sheriff's department not enforcing social distancing. What could possibly go wrong.

Be careful guys ... look what just happened to
#Germany and#SouthKorea ... we’re missing our cabin at the Lake, but will stay put until we’re all safe. -
Those countries are doing really well if you look at the data and don't just look at a news story. Some of the sites like John Hopkins lists everything day by day. You can even compare how states that reopened sooner are doing. It's very informative.

I'm concerned that people from neighboring Sacramento County (which has NOT been given the green light to move into expanded phase 2) will be shopping in our stores and eating in our restaurants. You can wear a mask into a store but not while eating in a dine-in restaurant.

If we are not careful, I expect that southern Placer county will rapidly develop hot spots and be forced back into shutdowns.
