      We have been trying to add capacity on campus, but are not being permitted to set up outside. We are not trying to add a mobile unit. This is the first year where voting and same day registration have been permitted on campus.

      Our @r_valejandra on the ground at UCLA says she’s been told that voting machines are not malfunctioning. Rather that the issue is the volume of people trying to vote and it’s taking a long time to process them.

      Just spoke with Sarah Wagner, a student at @USC, who says she waited nearly two hours to vote there at lunchtime: "You’d hope that voting would be a quick and easy experience to encourage young people to vote."

      We’re hearing that vote centers at three major universities in LA are having super long waits. More than two hours at @UCLA About two hours at @USC Slowdown at @LoyolaMarymount due to a power outage. We’re hearing voters are being encouraged to go to nearby centers instead
