Early voting experience: Barely made it in line at 4:57. They gave me chips. I had my own water. I read one-third of my book. Cast my vote and got my sticker at 7:08. Almost lost my sticker between the car seats at 7:11. Should have wine by 7:30. I love freedom.

Um. I work for a newspaper, so I promote civic duty and responsibility. There are “poles” in the house, of a sturdy nature ... that compel, um, well, we love rights and freedom here ... I have a sticker.
