Well maybe... Concerned citizens might tackle him, hold him down with as many people as it takes, and hold him until the police get there to exercise their public mandate to him into custody. Just a thought. Kind of old fashioned. That still legal?

No one is tackling anyone because someone is stealing from a billion dollar corp. It's not worth even the elevated heart rate.

If a thief broke into your home and stole all your stuff should someone stop the thief?

Walgreens is still private property a lot like someone's home. If you cannot see that then wow.

Bruh it’s nothing like someone’s home, it’s a space owned by a billion dollar company filled with insured products, if an item is stolen, it is insured. So tell me what is the point of ruining my day to get into a fight with some random thief?

When insurance has to pay a claim. The insurance rates go up. At some point, it becomes too expensive to do business and the store closes and leaves. That can lead to food and medication deserts. Walgreens has already closed 17 stores.
