Politics, unpopular opinions, shit like that doesn’t SERIOUSLY affect people unlike racism or bullying which is individualised or directed at a group. YouTube as a whole would not have the same opinion, so absolutely not, but hateful and hurtful content should not be encouraged.

Then every Trump critic would be banned. When someone becomes a public figure, they lose that protection, to an extent.
