What about the 1/3 of British people who said they were not concerned? Where on Earth is their empathy? How can someone possibly not feel empathetic when asked about the abuse that others suffer?

And 53% of respondents would feel comfortable if one of their friends were trans. In other words 47% wouldn’t consider befriending a trans person just because they are trans. What bothers them so much? Fear, misunderstanding?

Shame it's not 100% of people concerned about every person in society. World would be a much better place if we all considered every person as worthy. Acceptance and tolerance of others can't come too soon.
