I'm not outraged, I'm a little disappointed. Hang the DJ, in particular, could have made an effort. I might have seen same-sex couples in the background, but I'm really not sure. I have nothing against the protagonists being 100% straight, but there should have been notable

queer background characters at the least. There were so many opportunities, and the writers/directors chose not to include them. Fleeting doesn't count - that's queerbaiting.

Apart from that, I think you are right about the bi. Unless a storyline effort is made, what people see is straight or gay, not bi. And that is a shame/wrong.
