Employer should have emphasized the Facebook post rather than the vote itself. Coercing votes is unethical, but that's not what happened.

The issue wasn't so much the employee's vote as her public statement about said vote.

The real issue wasn't her vote, but her social media post. And employers can and do take action in response to employees' social media.
