People in our village are flying rainbow flags to show support for the NHS. If I see them I just wave and shout, 'Least I'm not the only gay in the village!' A lot of Christians use it to, as a peace flag. They REALLY don't like being called gay...

Honestly....all due respect but it matters not who 'uses' the rainbow when the message if for positivity....and my partner works as a HCA ...stop being precious over this...its this kind of approach makes a mockery of the LBGT+ movement ..

I understand people’s concerns but I have two points I’d like to raise. Firstly, the pride flag has already changed in the last few years to include black and brown. Secondly I am SO PROUD of our NHS and I want to show my PRIDE in it. Also it’s a NHS rainbow, not a flag.

I'm considering making a petition begging LGBT people to get a grip. This kind of behaviour just makes the LGBT community look petty.

the issue isn’t with the rainbow, it’s with the specific six stripe design which has been used by and associated with the community for decades. any other design would be fine
