The new rise of fascism in Europe is a serious and escalating problem. Poland's democracy is struggling against far right nationalism and bigoted propaganda of PiS and corrupted catholic church rn, but the sensible part of our nation is still fighting

As white cis males, my father and I both worked in Poland for short periods, decades apart. We were treated really well. It leaves a really sick feeling in my stomach that it was a shallow veneer concealing such deep bigotry.
