I did the same thing and I can’t see anything weird about it. Maybe I’d chat to them for a day or two first but I booked a flight to see someone in Holland. Tbh the trip is less hassle then trying to go from Scotland, where I’m based to London or Bristol

That wasn’t the issue. In an attention seeking and narcissistic way he poorly rated the sex then deleted all the tweets in his account when people called him out after he thought his performance was spot on.

There’s a man in Michigan who invited a guy he met on Grindr to his house, then he killed him and ate him. I guess this guy didn’t read that article.

And he did it all for attention and rated the sex which may or may not have been imaginary and dragged the guy all over the Internetpic.twitter.com/3GSsKJHkY0

Don’t really get the difference between going to meet someone you don’t know 1 mile away or someone in another country tbh. They’re equally likely (or unlikely rather) to be nutters. If you’re happy enough to spend a weekend in Helsinki alone if it went wrong where’s the problem?

Cost, knowing you're surroundings, knowing the language of the country you're in. Many reasons, but this I have a feeling this story is BS, so it doesn't matter.

Oh, do I have a story for y’all! I’ve been writing this book about my life and the biggest part is about how I took a ferry to ptown without having this guys name or number and ended up meeting a different man that I ended up being conned into matting for citizenship
