I am a "cis" woman who constantly get called Sir, constantly gets "recognised" as male. It doesn't bother me a tenth as much as being called "cis"

Wouldn't it just be simpler not to talk to or about people with pronoun issues? Take tables, for example. My kitchen table is neuter in English but feminine in French and masculine in German. Fortunately, he/she/it doesn't give a damn about pronouns, so when I need simplicity...

Sorry you feel this way James, it’s commonly seen as basic decency to accept a person as they are, since not allowing a person their pronouns can increase their gender dysphoria, which is heavily correlated with suicide rates.
