These stats are most likely close to the best you'd find in any country. I'm sure if we had a similar poll in Australia (which our conservative gov would never allow) the numbers would be quite a bit lower than Canada.

People aren’t always honest & will just tell people what they want to hear. Never let your guard down. Don’t live in fear, but be aware of the people that you’re around. The disgust some people show on their face towards same sex couples is very telling.

What they should be asking is how comfortable these "comfortable" cishets make their queer neighbors feel. It's not like LGBTQ people oppress allocishet people, but the reverse happens constantly.

Also the real question(that would get us anywhere) is the WHY so many people are uncomfortable with LGB and especially T people in a profession, where it's literally all about the profession?! Do they really think trans people are worse doctors after doing years of med school?
