They could always pick a less hateful version of Christianity. There are thousands of different versions, past and present. If they want to be the hateful, exclusionary version, that says all you need to hear from them and aren't worth anyone's time but CPS equivalence (Yankee).

The people who belong to those hateful sects don't believe that Christians who don't abuse children are Christians. Seriously, ask 100 Baptists about Catholics and easily half of them will start frothing at the mouth and calling them idol worshippers.
