Why would they be under fire for warning that Dubai is very anti LGBT and you could end up arrested or worse being out and open there.

Dubai has very tall buildings so when you get thrown off, you have a lot of time to regret your decision going to Dubai.

Hm. Hiding my sexuality vs being thrown into jail. It certainly would feel insulting to me and my pride as a person, but I'd much rather hide my sexuality than giving away my freedom and physical integrity. But alas, that's the reason I'll never visit Dubai.
