Personally resigning the poppy is crass the poppy is significant to that day as they were growing in the fields where tens of thousands were slaughtered. A rainbow doesn’t need to be added as the poppy is dedicated to all have fallen “lest we forget”

At least half of the fallen were LGBTQA. So a rainbow is a perfect symbol.

There is nothing wrong with the poppy, it’s just a poppy. Let’s remember that there were gay people fighting in the wars, and have probably fought in all wars since the beginning of time and are still fighting in wars now and am sure in the future too.

I had to educate a gay person on the history of the war that involved gay people.pic.twitter.com/8NI5Hx93Av

Even though I don’t agree with the multi colour poppy, but gay people had a lot to do with the war, as victims & those who fought against the nazis, Alan Turing being one of them.
