No where did it say he was having unprotected sex. All he did was tell him his status which is something any male or female should do when it comes to having sex regardless if a condom is used or not.

They are trying to show the stigma that HIV and AIDS still have in today’s society. Grindr as just an example but I have friends who have lived with this stigma for over 20 years in their everyday lives, including the attitudes of medical professionals who should know better.
