Tempting as it is, it’s not an acceptable response. What I can’t believe is why someone with such extreme, openly homophobic opinions is allowed to be a priest! Preferring someone is dead than being homosexual isn’t exactly compassionate for someone preaching love thy neighbour.

He isn’t anti-gay. The article you talk about it’s from 2012 and he says he respect gay marriage. The woman who pushed him has mental problems and part of a group of Catholics who went to attend his mass. He got hurt of course but did not press charges.

Violence is never the answer. You cant fight hate and intolerance with hate and intolerance. You need to be better than them and rise above it.
