So AIDS is the term for the secondary illnesses that can develop if the disease is not managed? Living with successfully managed HIV can mean a normal lifespan. Can you clarify the headline?

That was going to be my reply too! He said he is healthy so he does not have AIDS. HIV is the phase of disease he has which is quite manageable and there have been break through meds in the last year or so that have actually cured several ppl who had HIV!

@pinknews. I don't know this man but I'm surprised you uncritically promote the idea that living with HIV/AIDS is a death sentence?
