Coming to terms with being gay was such a momentous part of of my life in the 70s and 80s, to say that it was just about falling in love is rubbish. I’m not in anyway bisexual. I was definitely looking for a man when I found my husband 34 years ago.

Interesting. I would say that i had come to terms with being gay by simply burying it. Then 25 years ago I met my husband and was able to be out.

As a straight man , I'm extremely confident (and I think I speak for most of us) in saying that if the woman I fell in love with undressed and had a penis, I would fall out of love pretty damn quick.

It's very strange how people think you can change your sexual orientation to appease trans people. These are 'adults' who have no idea how sexual orientation works. Imagine thinking conversion therapy is now a good thing. Regressive as hell.

Although we don't fall in love with genitals, it still plays a big part in a relationship. I'm not into vaginas, unfortunately. Sexual compatibility is important to me just like appearance and personality, which is why I wouldn't date someone with a vagina.

Sexual compatibility, good point. I think that if we also take this point seriously, there would be fewer divorces or ruptures, sometimes we are not objective and we believe that because we like someone is enough, isn't so.
