Yes. We have come a long way. It was very much a story of the time and didn't reflect all LGBT community groups. It was more of a gay mans prospective than a community one. Perhaps now is the time to revisit as a LGBT community rather than the way it was wrote.

Wow - it’s so easy as somebody born in the 90s to take for granted how far LGBT+ issues have progressed in 20 years, and to think how groundbreaking Queer as Folk must have been at the time.
