I remember having this debate 20 years ago when the song came out. No. Kirsty was in character and it’s what the character would have said.

Nor should you cover it. It’s perfect as it is. Especially not this lot: “six years ago featuring Gary Barlow, Tulisa, Nicole Scherzinger and Dawn French.”. No! NO!

Not banned. There are plenty bid songs with the 'N' word that also shouldn't be banned. Although, they are usually sung by the group the word was used to oppress. Perhaps we can make up a family safe rhyme for an alternative. It worked of Cee Lo Green. Forgot you.

I've really got to start reading my tweets over once before I send them.

I feel it should be, but then the N word is hardly censored in songs and white people still belt it out. Doesn’t make it right and I feel they should make more of an effort at this time of year. As it does low key annoy me in this song actually lmao.

I understand the issue here because I'm sure it wld be viewed differently if it were the N word used in same way. However I've listened to 90's gangster rap & sang along to N word many a time so I'm just as bad? More the point if it's Irish slang for lazy then the laughs on us.

Radios beep out the N word though, if it's in a public space it should be censored, it's offensive.
