not really, it's not something I'll fight hard for but I can completely understand why having uniformed cops at a pride will make people upset or uncomfortable and it isn't like we'd be banning the people they can still take the day off and attend

Showing solidarity helps the gay community feel safe that they can call on help if needed. Maybe not in full uniform but possibly some sort of police uniform.

Anyone in uniform that wants to be an ally should be able to march in pride, it’s through that unity the community gets more support. Pride marches shouldn’t be about segregation

Theres alot that can go wrong at a pride parade. Police should be aloud in to protect marchers.
