Everyone's excited to see a competitive Democratic primary in #CA01, and those of us out of district hope that whoever is nominated won't turn down our support, which is an expression of solidarity from people in less competitive districts. Let's beat LaMalfa together!
I like "Silicone Valley"! But a couple of points—Tech Solidarity has nothing to do with Citizens United, or the SuperPACs that it enabled. Holcombe has received individual donations from all across the country, just like Walters, because people believe in her campaign.

My point about Citizens United is that Tech Solidarity does not make independent expenditures on behalf of candidates, or obscure where donations are coming from. Every dollar that people have given to candidates is accounted for in FEC public filings, and has a name attached.
